PT BCA Finance was established in 1981 under the name of PT Sari Metropolitan Central Leasing Corporation (CSML). At the beginning of its Foundation, the company is a shareholder of PT Bank Central Asia and Japan Leasing Corporation. The Company masihmemfokuskan business on commercial financing, such as the financing of production machinery, heavy equipment and transportation. Furthermore in 2001 the Central Metropolitan Leasing PT Sari changed its name to PT Central Sari Finance (CSF), followed by a change of ownership, whereby PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) became the majority shareholder, as well as the change of focus ventures into the financing of motor vehicles, especially four or more wheels. Lastly, in accordance with the decision letter of the Minister of Justice and human rights of Republic of Indonesia No. C-08091 HT. 00. th. 2005, then on March 28, 2005 PT Sari Central Finance has changed its name to PT BCA Finance.
