The regional development banks in Central Java was first established in Semarang upon Subpoena Government Minister General & autonomous region no. DU 26/1/35 March 13, 1963 and a business license from the Minister of Central Bank no. 4/Kep/MUBS/63 of 14 March 1963 as the Foundation's operations in Central Java. The first operation started on 6 April 1963 with Bapindo building, JL. Pahlawan No.3 Semarang as its headquarters. Until the end of 1999, based on the regulations of The Central Java province no. 6 in 1998 and Statute No. 1 on 1 May 1999 and ratified on the basis of decisions of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia No. C HT. 2.8223.5 in 1999 on May 15, 1999, the Bank was transformed into a limited liability company. On May 7, 1999, PT Central Java regional development banks following the Banking Recapitalization Program. On May 7, 2005, PT Central Java regional development banks completed a recapitalization, repurchase of the shares owned by the Central Government by the Government of the province of Central Java and Kabupaten/Kota se.
